Where to start with Ben.....

We received Ben from another rescue after he showed major behavioral problems. After further review we realized that Ben is sight-challenged. Sadly, his breeder and the first owner hadn't noticed. This means that Ben was treated as a sighted dog, without the benefit of being able to see. He was easily frustrated, and his first owner used punishment on him when he was a baby. Because of all of those situations, Ben has major behavior problems.

After a couple of years with us, he trusts Michelle, our trainer. Ben gets big feelings and is very vocal. He is a tiny guy, but able to terrify all sizes of people. Ben can be ferocious!
