UPDATE: Star was returned to our rescue. Her adopter just felt it wasn't a good fit. Since she's been back with us she's doing great!

We found Star looking pathetic at a shelter in the high desert and decided to bring her home. She's had a bath (actually 2), been groomed, is working on being crate trained and is learning how to walk on a leash nicely.

This little girl is a SWEETHEART that is ready to bond with her new owner. She is playful but still loves to cuddle. She does great in a car and really enjoys chilling on the couch watching movies.

When we first picked her up on Wednesday, 9/3/14, she was acting a little timid towards new people, but she is quickly building her confidence up. Her perfect home is going to be one that is aware that she will need grooming for the rest of her life and is willing to take her on walks and have her as their companion.
