Chia needs a caretaker or foster!
Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Chia is a sweet, confident girl that loves to get her belly rubbed as much as she loves going for walks. She has been with our rescue since April 2013 and has had a ton of socialization. She gets along wonderfully with other animals, both cats and dogs, and people of all ages! It's safe to say she's never met a human that does a bad job at tummy rubbing, and she should know because she puts everyone to the test.
Visitors to our rescue spend time playing with her and walking her around and she is a joy for everyone. Her perfect home will be one where the excitement level is low and where it isn't too noisy with yelling, etc. When we picked her up from the shelter she was extremely nervous and lacked any kind of self confidence. Thankfully she responded well to the training and came out of her shell. <3
